Sta­dium works stop trains

SER­VICES on the Ar­madale and Thorn­lie lines will be can­celled from the evening of Thurs­day, March 24 un­til the last ser­vice on Mon­day, March 28 to fa­cil­i­tate Perth Sta­dium Sta­tion works.

As part of the $358 mil­lion in­te­grated trans­port plan for Perth Sta­dium, a se­cond set of tracks will be con­structed along­side the ex­ist­ing Ar­madale Line.

Later this year, train ser­vices will need to be trans­ferred across to this new sec­tion of line.

Train re­place­ment bus Route 907 will op­er­ate be­tween Perth and Ar­madale and bus Route 908 will op­er­ate be­tween Can­ning­ton and Thorn­lie while train ser­vices are can­celled.

Pas­sen­gers should al­low ex­tra trav­el­ling time and be aware that re­place­ment buses may not con­nect with timetabled bus and train ser­vices.

Trains will re­sume with the start of time-tabled ser­vices on Tues­day, March 29.
