It ap­pears lit­tle ef­fort has been put into mak­ing this se­quel, as it re­lies pre­dom­i­nantly on Hart’s manic be­hav­iour jux­ta­posed with Cube’s stone­faced ex­pres­sion, which one could safely as­sume the first one al­ready did.

En­joy­ment of this film also de­pends on how much of a fan one is of Hart’s comedic style; I quickly dis­cov­ered it is not my cup of tea.

I found my­self squirm­ing im­pa­tiently in my chair as this ‘com­edy’ lurched from one ex­cru­ci­at­ingly un­funny gag to the next.

The box of­fice suc­cess in Amer­ica of this se­quel would un­doubt­edly lead to a tril­ogy, but I do not think I will take an­other ride along with th­ese two.
