GO WITH THE NATURAL FLOW HOME HAS BEEN A BRILLIANT PLACE TO RAISE YOUNG FAMILY

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - RESIDENTIAL -

IT is profoundly clear just how loved this home is as soon as you speak to owners Bianca and Leon Guthrie, who share it with their children Ava (8), Nate (6) and Darcy (3).

The couple bought the property 14 years ago from the original owners, who built it in the late '60s.

“We were drawn to the layout, the potential and my favourite thing was the floor- boards,” Mrs Guthrie said.

“We have done a lot of work on the house since and most recently had the kitchen and bathroom done and the front garden landscaped.”

From the entry, the floor plan flows naturally from the hallway into the open-plan dining and kitchen space, a lightfilled room that forms the hub of the house.

This flows on to the play- room or fourth bedroom and the family room, which features high raked ceilings and views of the back yard.

“The layout is ideal,” Mrs Guthrie said.

“It has been great to be able to be in the kitchen and see the kids in the playroom.”

The 746sq m block means there is plenty of room out the back for alfresco entertaining, which the family have taken full advantage of.

Completing the home are well-separated bedrooms, including the front master bedroom with split-system airconditioning.

“We also love that the house is close to the city, airport, shops and schools,” Mr Guthrie said.

“Notre Dame Catholic Primary is almost at the end of our street.”
