A MAN was taken into custody by Midland police officers after he was thought to have committed offences in police districts throughout the south eastern suburbs. It was alleged that while being driven to a station on February 28, the arrested person threatened to spit on police and claimed to have Aids. No police officer was injured. The 35-year-old man from West Swan was charged with seven stealing offences, two frauds, threats to harm and disorderly conduct. The man was refused bail.
