CHARITY HOME UP FOR AUCTION
THE HIA Charity Home will go under the hammer this weekend to raise funds for beyondblue to help tackle depression and anxiety in the residential building industry.
Set for auction by Tom Esze at 10am on Saturday, the four-bedroom residence in Eglinton is an initiative of the HIA Charitable Foundation with support from Dale Alcock Homes and Stockland.
Foundation chairman Ron Dwyer said the home had attracted more than 200 visitors since opening its doors to the public six weeks ago.
“The response has been extremely posi- tive and the sales team has identified some serious buyers in the mix,” he said.
“We can’t wait to see Tom in action, raising much-needed funds for the HIA Charitable Foundation while also securing a dream home for a savvy buyer.”
Dale Alcock Homes, part of the ABN Group, donated its services and skills to build the residence on land donated by Stockland in the beachside community of Amberton in Perth’s northern suburbs.
The HIA Charity Home is on Celeste Street (entry is off Marmion Avenue into Cinnabar Drive).
