Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - OPINION -

PLEASE stop looking at genders and fight for equality for all, especially in regards to domestic violence.

Women commit a large chunk of domestic violence against men and against children. That is not spoken about enough.

If ending domestic violence against men cannot be talked about and fought for just as much as ending domestic against women can be (which it is now), then simply fight to end all domestic violence and remember we are equals.

Violence against women is as bad as violence against men and vice versa; one is neither worse nor more important than the other is.

Do not forget in your bias towards supporting girls and women that boys and men need to be given the same support and opportunities, care and facilities as females.

Failing that, your equality turns into gender favouritism. Name and address supplied.
