A strong focus on fashion
THE 2015 applied fashion designers from Bentley Polytechnic West continue to prove why it is a course to be reckoned with.
NUCLEO Collective, unveiled last November, was the culmination of 12 months of work by young aspiring designers.

Ms Paravac was inspired by colleagues and lecturers at Polytechnic and said she would recommend a fashion course to anyone aspiring to be a designer as it taught so much about the industry.
“I’ve learned so much about my own design style, strengths and weaknesses,” she said.
Ms Paravac said she was inspired to choose luxurious fabrics for the Pompei Drape dress; a 'one off' bespoke piece in a silk is no longer available. Ms Paravac is working on her own online boutique but can be contacted for custom gowns at intimate.collective@ gmail.com. West Certificate III in Applied Fashion Design and Technology is among the most sought-after courses in the state for students wanting to master textile design and fashion design.
