ACTIVITIES FOR THE COMMUNITY

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - NEWS - Kaylee Martin

THE City of South Perth will bustle with activity when the National Youth Week celebrations kick off on Friday.

The City will host a range of free events aimed at people aged 12-25 from April 8 to 17.

The national week will bring thousands of people the opportunity to share ideas, attend events and celebrate their contribution to the community.

The South Perth Youth Network (SYPN) worked with City staff to co-ordinate a list of community events.

“The South Perth Youth Network has again come up with a range of unique activities and interesting ideas for National Youth Week,” South Perth Mayor Sue Doherty said.

“These activities are a great way of connecting youth in our

d451954c community. Involving local youth from the planning stages also helps them to develop valuable experiences.”

Activities range from hula hooping fitness and bubble soccer matches to mentoring opportunities and more.
