Team pitches in to spruce up Men’s Shed

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - STREET WATCH -

WITH a much-needed fresh coat of paint, the Belmont Men’s Shed now has a new lease of life.

Bunnings Warehouse staff from Belmont and East Victoria Park joined forces with the Men’s Shed members to paint the exterior last Tuesday.

The Men’s Shed opened earlier this year, providing a safe, no-pressure environment where local men can use their skills on a range of projects.

It also offers a powerful social environment, where men can interact and discuss any issues in a non-threatening environment.

Bunnings Warehouse Belmont complex manager Carol Prime said her team was happy to help the Belmont Men’s Shed.

“Belmont Men’s Shed is an important part of our community, so it’s great to be able to help them out with some much-needed painting,” she said.

Our team members are part of the community and we actively support a wide range of local community groups.”
