PER­SONAL safety coach Stephen Wal­ton will teach the seven se­crets to self-de­fence, self-pro­tec­tion and per­sonal safety on Tues­day, May 17 from 6-7.30pm in the Cen­te­nary Park main hall, Bel­mont. Stephen has more than 29 years mar­tial arts ex­pe­ri­ence and was a po­lice of­fi­cer. Stay safe strate­gies will in­clude sit­u­a­tional aware­ness train­ing, se­cu­rity on the street, warn­ing and dan­ger signs, threat anal­y­sis, fear con­trol, con­flict com­mu­ni­ca­tion, and myths of self de­fence. The work­shop will be con­ducted by ac­cred­ited prac­tis­ing di­eti­tian and ad­vanced sports di­eti­tian Si­mone Allen.
