High five for host

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - STREET WATCH -

COMO-based radio station 98five’s new drive show host will introduce a distinct Kiwi flavour, with New Zealand-born Jezial Anderson jumping on air.

98five general manager Bevan Jones said listeners would love Anderson’s cheeky humour.

“It’s funny how the right people come to 98five at the right time,” Mr Jones said.

“A couple of months ago, a cheeky Kiwi fellow contacted me saying he would love to get back into Christian media.

“Two months later we called him. I think our drive listeners will grow to love him quickly.”

Anderson said he was excited to bring his upbeat and energetic flavour to the drive show.

“I’ve always had a thing for talking, much to my teachers’ disgust, so I’m glad I’ve found a place where I can talk for a living,” Anderson said.

“I’m now stoked to be working for 98five.”

Anderson replaces former host Christine Layton, who accepted a role in Albany at ABC Great Southern’s morning show.
