THERE are a di­verse range of vol­un­teer­ing roles to ben­e­fit any­one’s skill set at St John Am­bu­lance.

Th­ese roles al­low vol­un­teers the chance to con­trib­ute in a clin­i­cal role or in a community-based role and par­tic­i­pate in a mean­ing­ful community ac­tiv­ity with the sup­port and guid­ance of one of WA’s largest hu­man­i­tar­ian or­gan­i­sa­tions.

The gen­er­ous vol­un­teers also re­ceive a range of won­der­ful ben­e­fits for the time they give to help­ing oth­ers.

The roles on of­fer in the metro area in­clude a lo­gis­tics of­fi­cer with Event Health Ser­vices, as­sist­ing with ve­hi­cle move­ments, event co-or­di­na­tion and gen­eral lo­gis­tics and plan­ning.

There’s also the op­tion to help out at the Belmont of­fice with the fa­cil­i­ta­tion of first aid train­ing classes as a vol­un­teer first aid as­sis­tant and there are a se­ries of community trans­port vol­un­teer roles, as­sist­ing with trans­port­ing and car­ing for peo­ple en­ter­ing the hospi­tal sys­tem.
