Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - RESIDENTIAL - Lucy Rutherford

SECURE this beautifully-presented, first-floor apartment for a relaxed lifestyle in a great central location.

Owners Peter and Emma Joy said they had lived in the home in 2009 as a young married couple and loved every moment of their year there.

“We loved the low-maintenance lifestyle of an apartment and the small community we were able to be a part of,” they said.

“We enjoyed being on the first floor for that extra security, loved the fresh, open-plan, generous feel to the apartment and we also enjoyed the two airconditioners in summer.”

A neat and functional kitchen leads into the open-plan dining and living area with sliding doors to the spacious balcony.

The two double-size bedrooms have mirrored robes and the master has access to one of two balconies.

“Both balconies offer a lovely view of the lush green garden below and it’s great to be able to sit out on the main one and enjoy a barbecue with friends,” the Joys said.

“Emma had a 30th birthday in this apartment when friends and family came from Melbourne and locally to surprise her after work – a very special evening.”

Other features include neutral decor, carpets throughout, a massive bathroom and laundry and secure undercover car bay with remote gate access.

“We both worked in the city and being so close to the train station, we were able to leave the car securely at home and enjoy hassle-free travel into and out of the city each day,” they said.

“We loved the Vic Park shops and restaurants and we also enjoyed cycling down to the river.

“We thoroughly enjoyed living in this apartment and hope that the next owner equally enjoys it as their new home.”
