Dockers turn teachers

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - LOOKLOCAL -

FREMANTLE Dockers players descended on Curtin University last week to host a clinic for international students.

‘Welcome to AFL’ aimed to introduce the sport to students who had never played and provide the opportunity for them to participate in a quintessentially Australian experience.

It was held at Curtin’s Edinburgh oval. Dockers players, including Tendai Mzungu and Brady Grey taught rules and skills from the game to students with backgrounds from China, Brazil, Indonesia, Germany, America and Malaysia.

More than 150 students, both male and female, registered for the clinic.
