Train lines shut down

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - NEWS -

THE Armadale and Thornlie train lines will be shut from July 1-9 for works on the Perth Stadium Station.

Residents who take those routes are urged to plan for the disruption, which is set to affect five business days.

Transperth spokesman David Hynes said there would be train replacement buses .

“Passengers who will be using the replacement buses should allow more time to complete their journey or, if possible, consider other options, such as staggering their work hours,” he said.

On Friday, July 1, the last full service on the Armadale Line will depart Perth for Armadale at 6.47pm and Thornlie from Perth at 7.07pm.

A half-line service to Cannington will depart Perth at 7.02pm.

Heading to Perth, the last services will depart Armadale at 7.16pm and Thornlie at 7.35pm.

Trains will resume from first service on Sunday, July 10, in time for the West Coast and North Melbourne game.
