Stolen cars charges
KENSINGTON detectives charged three men after six vehicles were stolen from a car yard in Welshpool late last month.
It was alleged about 1.20am on May 27 that the gates of a car yard were rammed using a Chevy Suburban before a number of people entered the premises on Welshpool Road.
Vehicle windows were smashed and locked boxes were forced open.
Six vehicles were stolen and 19 had been entered, moved or damaged.
By 5pm, Kensington detectives had recovered five of the vehicles, in Wattle Grove, Gosnells, Byford and two in Queens Park.
During the investigation, a jet ski and trailer that were believed to have been stolen were confiscated from a Queens Park property.
A 28-year-old Warnbro man was arrested in Wattle Grove and charged with stealing a motor vehicle, three counts of possessing stolen property and no authority to drive.
A 41-year-old Perth man was charged with stealing a motor vehicle.
A 41-year-old Lockridge man was charged with burglary, possession of a firearm and a prohibited drug, and stealing.
All three men faced Perth Magistrates Court and were remanded in custody.
