WESTERN Aus­tralia cruised to a 134-point win over Tas­ma­nia in the state clash at Bassendean Oval on Satur­day.

Clare­mont’s Jye Bolton claimed the Simp­son Medal for best on ground in the 24.14 (164) to 4.6 (30) win.

The Black Swans led by three goals at the first break but ac­cel­er­ated heav­ily from there to lead by 10 at half-time.

Fif­teen goals to three in the sec­ond half pow­ered the hosts to a mas­sive win.

Bolton gath­ered 46 dis­pos­als, took 12 marks and booted two goals.

East Fre­man­tle speed­ster Brett Peake booted seven, fol­lowed closely by South Fre­man­tle power for­ward Ben Saun­ders who kicked six.

For­mer Ade­laide Crows for­ward Ian Cal­li­nan kicked two goals for the vis­i­tors.
