RENEWABLE ENERGY

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - NEWS -

A Shorten Labor Government will ensure that 50 per cent of the nation’s electricity is sourced from renewable energy by 2030.

Climate change is driving the most profound restructuring of the world’s economy this century: the transition from fossil fuel based energy to renewable energy.

Australia has a competitive advantage in renewable energy. We have some of the best natural resources in the world and our research in renewable energy technology is world leading. Harnessing our advantage in renewables with lower, stable energy prices will significantly improve Australia’s competitiveness.
