Ben Currell is one-third of the creative team behind CoLaboratories, alongside Michael Haynes and Barnaby Nichols.

“It’s been a pretty quick process – Barnaby and Michael came up with the idea in a bar in Fremantle in February,” Mr Currell said.

“Since then, following the approval and support from the Town of Victoria Park, it has been a flurry of sanding, screwing, painting and rearranging.

“Victoria Park has a vibrant identity and an established base of small businesses, entrepreneurs, students and artists.

“The atmosphere inside the space is comfortable, constructive and open.”
