IN the highly competitive world of bridal wear, one Victoria Park couturier sets herself apart with a passion for her brides that surpasses her rivals.

Angelina Arcaro of Arcaro Couture has been in the fashion industry for more than 40 years.

You may think that she would have dressed more brides than she can remember, but she remembers them all.

Each bride is special to Ms Arcaro and so are their dresses.

When you enter her Victoria Park home studio, you can tell that the dresses have ‘right of way’.

Each creation is connected to Angelina: she builds them with her heart and soul. She even names each dress before presenting them to her brides.

“I have a true passion, a love of the craft,” Ms Arcaro said.

Ms Arcaro specialises in creating one-off, unique bridal gowns and high-class evening wear.

When asked what inspires the designs, she explained each dress had a personality and was made for one unique woman.

Ms Arcaro works closely with her brides to ensure that each gown lives up to the bridal dream every woman wants to experience.

Arcaro wedding dresses are moulded to the body to fit like a glove and Ms Arcaro said she had always been an advocate for voluptuous and curvy women, with a specialty in creating gowns for a fuller figure.

My favourite thing about this collection is the sheer romance of it.

The sweetheart neckline of the tulle ballgown is a princess moment just waiting to happen, while the Gatsby-inspired champagne gown is alluring and sensual.

The hi-lo lace gown is for our Breakfast at Tiffany’s bride, and the hand-stitched white lace and nude fit and flare gown is for the bride who wants her wow moment.

The beautiful thing about working with Arcaro Couture is that you are only limited by your imagination.

We teamed these incredible gowns with soft, rolling, romantic locks by House of Haylo, who also provided our model Emma Claire with the stunning and fresh bridal make-up. Francis Phillips from Model Co. International made a handsome husband in REWORKED man woman label.
