Have breakfast while you vote

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - NEWS -

RESIDENTS can expect a hot coffee and bacon and egg sandwich if they choose to cast their Federal Election votes at East Victoria Park Primary School.

To raise funds for the school, the P&C has invited voters to fulfil their democratic duties at the school and purchase coffee, bacon and egg burgers.

A range of homemade cakes and biscuits will also be available for purchase.

This year the P&C is focused on raising money for a new nature playground in the early childhood area.

Pre-primary teacher Paige Browning said the playground would help teachers create a more holistic education program.

“It will allow a free-flow approach in the classroom, utilising the nature playground to create a dynamic learning space,” she said.

The food and merchandise stalls will be open this Saturday July 2 from 8am to 11.30am or until stocks run out.

East Victoria Park Primary School is at 30 Beatty Avenue.
