Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - OPINION -

IF you are going to set drum lines for white pointers, you may as well start the cull that is necessary to protect people.

Every one of these magnificent creatures is a potential killer of humans.

By the time you have found out you have caught what you think is the culprit; the real killer could be miles away.

As well as the sharks, we protect whales, seals and dolphins and all they do is grow in number and keep depleting our fish stocks.

Let us cull the whales, seals and dolphins. Try fishing around Bunbury; there is barely a rock crab on the groynes because the dolphins have taken everything. DES PARKYN, Belmont.
