A MAN will ap­pear in Fre­man­tle Mag­is­trates Court af­ter Kens­ing­ton de­tec­tives charged him with of­fences.

Just be­fore 10am on June 22, a mem­ber of the pub­lic re­ported a sus­pi­cious ve­hi­cle in Shel­ley, in the vicin­ity of Leach High­way.

Kens­ing­ton de­tec­tives as­cer­tained the Toy­ota Camry had been stolen dur­ing a bur­glary in North Fre­man­tle on June 18.

With the help of the Kens­ing­ton lo­cal polic­ing team, the de­tec­tives in­ter­cepted the ve­hi­cle in Shel­ley and took the driver into cus­tody.

The 26-year-old Fre­man­tle man was charged with three counts of steal­ing, two counts of ag­gra­vated bur­glary, two counts of steal­ing a mo­tor ve­hi­cle and more.
