PERTH got its fourth win of the sea­son, hand­ing East Fre­man­tle con­sec­u­tive losses, with the Demons win­ning 15.14 (104) to 14.9 (93) at Lathlain Park on Satur­day

Perth came out a com­mit­ted and des­per­ate out­fit, eye­ing off a fourth win of the sea­son and the Demons had all the an­swers af­ter quar­ter time to record the 11-point vic­tory.

Cody Leggett was the sur­prise star of the day for Perth.

Hav­ing taken on run-with roles since re­turn­ing to the League side, he was a fo­cal point in at­tack on Satur­day and it worked re­mark­ably well, with him kick­ing a ca­reer-best seven goals from 18 pos­ses­sions and seven marks.

He had to play as the for­ward tar­get, with Sam Gar­stone re­quired in the ruck af­ter An­gus Gra­ham went down early in the game.

Gar­stone was clearly the best ruck­man on the ground with 20 pos­ses­sions, seven marks and 28 hit-outs up against both Jake Solomon and James Bris­tow.

Bren­nan Stack also re­turned to the Perth side to kick three goals, while Ai­dan Tropi­ano played his best game of the sea­son against his for­mer club with 33 pos­ses­sions and 14 tack­les.

Clint Jones also had 30 dis­pos­als, Liam McKenna 27, Ju­lian Ja­cobs 27, Michael Sin­clair 21, Laine Wilkins 21 and Len­non Mar­lin 20.

Brock O'Brien kicked four goals for East Fre­man­tle, Brett Peake three, Fraser Perry two and Lewis Krak­ouer two.

In the Re­serves, Perth 14.8 (92) de­feated East Fre­man­tle 11.13 (79).

In the Colts, Perth 8.6 (54) de­feated East Fre­man­tle 2.7 (19).
