Security guard assault

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - OPINION -

POLICE are calling for help from the public to identify two women (pictured) allegedly involved in an assault on a security officer outside a Belmont pharmacy last month.

About 10.30am on Monday, June 6, two women entered an Abernethy Road pharmacy.

They browsed through the store selecting several items, including jewellery, perfume and a toothbrush, then left without paying for them.

A security officer approached the women outside the store and asked them to return the items. The officer tried to stop one of the women and the other woman allegedly grabbed a display item and threw it at the officer, who received a laceration to his nose. Both women ran away from the store. Call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 and quote reference number 8145.
