Priceless reaction to Purple Bra Day
STAFF at Aqualife Leisure Centre in Victoria Park have banded together to form a small purple army and raise money for Breast Cancer Care WA last month.
Both male and female staff whipped out their favourite purple bras and outfits and raised more than $130 with a morning tea.
Victoria Park resident and Aqualife employee Catherine Giles said a close friend of her colleague had lost her battle with breast cancer.
“It was amazing to see all the staff get involved and watch the men strut around in their purple bras,” Ms Giles said.
“Everyone’s reactions to each other’s attire were priceless and it was just a day full of fun and good laughs.”
Aqualife hopes to get their members involved in the fundraising action next year.
