TALENTED artists and photographers from across WA will have their work showcased as part of the City of Belmont’s 14th Annual Art and Photographic Awards.

The exhibition was officially opened at Ruth Faulkner Public Library last Sunday and has a prize pool of $14,400. It will be open to the public until July 30. “The awards not only provide artists and photographers with the opportunity to express their creativity, innovation and skill but also provide us with a unique insight into their interpretation of our culture, environment and people,” Mayor Phil Marks said.

“At the City of Belmont, we are committed to providing and supporting recreational and cultural opportunities for our residents, and the Art and Photographic Exhibition encourages local artists to showcase their work to the Belmont community.”
