WEST Perth kicked four goals to nil in the open­ing quar­ter to set up an even­tual 46-point win over Perth at HBF Arena on Satur­day, 13.13 (91) 6.9 (45), to re­main in touch for a top-two fin­ish.

Max Duffy and Michael Lourey both kicked four goals each for West Perth, with Joel Lee­son adding two in the fi­nal quar­ter against his for­mer side.

Shane Nel­son com­piled another 40 pos­ses­sions for West Perth, with Aaron Black fin­ish­ing with 32 dis­pos­als, Blake Wil­helm 29, Ai­dan Lynch 28, Jay van Berlo 26 and Steven Browne 19.

Chris Ke­unen had a bet­ter show­ing in the ruck with 17 dis­pos­als and 19 hitouts, while Dean Munns did another tremen­dous tag­ging job, hold­ing Perth mid­fielder Ju­lian Ja­cobs to a ca­reer­low six touches.

Spencer White kicked three goals for Perth and Sam Gar­stone two.
