Perth, WA takes tilt at set­ting world record for the kilt

PERTH is tak­ing a run at set­ting a world record at the City of Ar­madale’s an­nual Perth Kilt Run at Min­nawarra Park on Septem­ber 18.

The City is hop­ing that Perth, Aus­tralia, will be able to beat Perth, Scot­land, and Perth, On­tario, in the run.

The cur­rent record for the num­ber of run­ners is 1750, set in On­tario.

“Now in our fourth year we hope to edge even closer to tak­ing out the ti­tle of world’s largest kilt run,” said Ar­madale Mayor Henry Zelones.
