Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - OPINION -

WHAT a week for strange happenings.

When Kim Kardashian got robbed of $14 million worth of jewellery, the cynic in me could not help but wonder if it was a ruse to bolster the ratings of her reality television show.

Then I thought, well, serves you right.

If you are going to put every facet of your life on display, people are eventually going to take advantage of that.

Then I thought, why the heck am I even giving this any thought at all?

She is a vacuous, plastic-enhanced nobody who does not deserve my time.

Then I was distracted by the release of Donald Trump's tax records from 1995 that showed he made a $900 million loss - and his supporters were calling him a business genius for it.

It made me think that maybe the Trump campaign is the biggest prank ever perpetrated on mankind.

Eventually he is going to stop and say "Got Ya".
