Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - OPINION -

d460556 THE City of South Perth is encouraging people who missed the green waste collection to use its Collier Park Waste Transfer Station which has large, reusable recycling bags available free for residents. People can fill the bags with green waste or recyclable material and drop the waste off at the waste transfer station, free of charge. These materials are shredded and composted into garden mulch which is also free for residents. The bags can be used for collecting up to 120 litres of mulch. Items that can be recycled are bark, grass, weeds, leaves, animal waste and food waste. Contact the waste transfer station for more information on 9367 2492.
