KENSINGTON De­tec­tives are ask­ing for the pub­lic's as­sis­tance to lo­cate a 20-year-old man who they be­lieve can as­sist them with their in­quiries into a se­ri­ous as­sault in Cloverdale on Oc­to­ber 6. Larry Leonard Woods is de­scribed as hav­ing a dark com­plex­ion, is ap­prox­i­mately 182cm tall, with a solid build, black hair and brown eyes. He is known to fre­quent the Cloverdale area. About 7.15pm, a 57 year old man was as­saulted by an un­known per­son at a res­i­dence lo­cated on Pear Road in Cloverdale. It is be­lieved the of­fender used a blunt ob­ject to as­sault the vic­tim, which re­sulted in him re­ceiv­ing se­ri­ous head in­juries. He was con­veyed by am­bu­lance to Royal Perth Hos­pi­tal where he is in a sta­ble but crit­i­cal con­di­tion, De­tec­tives ask any­one who sees Mr Woods, or knows of his where­abouts, is asked to call Crime Stop­pers on 1800 333 000, or www.crimestop­per­swa.com.au.
