Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - CHRISTMAS -

SHARE the puppy love this Christmas by donating some much-needed items for WA guide dog puppies.

Items sought include pet futon beds, Kong wobblers, large goodie bones, snuggle/plush toys, Love ‘Em liver treats, and fleece or crochet blankets.

“We wanted an easy way for the community to get involved with guide dogs this Christmas, to kickstart their training journey,” said Guide Dogs WA puppy-raising team member Suzanne D’Arcy.

“You can feel good knowing you’ve spread the Christmas cheer and made a real difference to the lives of some very special West Australian puppies.”

It takes a minimum of two years and costs more than $35,000 to train a guide dog.

Guide Dogs WA is reliant on the support of the community to fund the Guide Dog program. There are five drop-off points across Perth: VisAbility Guide Dogs WA Perth Upmarket at QV1 Cottesloe Vet Holiday Inn Perth City Centre Anytime Fitness Beldon
