Am­bos rise to chal­lenge

ST John Am­bu­lance paramedics should think about in­sur­ing their fa­cial hair after it raised more than $22,000 in the an­nual Movem­ber chal­lenge.

The Aus­tralia-wide Triple Zero Chal­lenge Net­work of emer­gency ser­vice teams ded­i­cated this year’s Movem­ber to help­ing pre­vent the deaths of young men from sui­cide.

Com­ing sec­ond out of 144 teams, the WA paramedics were still roundly beaten by the Tas­ma­nian Eds Mo Bros, who in a mam­moth ef­fort raised more than $41,000.
