Morn­ing tea to see li­brary close

THE com­mu­nity cel­e­brated the 52year history of Manning Li­brary dur­ing a free morn­ing tea on De­cem­ber 2.

The event was at­tended by Deputy Mayor Glenn Crid­land as well as past and present staff.

Manning Li­brary will re­lo­cate to the new state-of-the art Manning Com­mu­nity Centre off Brad­shaw Cres­cent in Manning and is ex­pected to open in Fe­bru­ary 2017.

The last op­er­a­tional day at the ex­ist­ing li­brary was on De­cem­ber 3. From De­cem­ber 5 to early Fe­bru­ary 2017, li­brary mem­bers can re­turn all out­stand­ing loans to South Perth Li­brary, on the cor­ner of South Ter­race and Sandgate Street in South Perth.
