Public help needed
DETECTIVES from the Regional Investigation Unit are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at The Lunch Club in Carlisle on December 12.
Police said a man entered the store on Oats Street at 2.40pm, approached the counter and threatened staff with a knife whilst demanding money from the cash register.
The man grabbed the register and staff intervened. He then allegedly threw the cash register at staff before fleeing the store on foot. The man was seen running south on Harris Street, Carlisle.
Detectives want to speak to the man pictured. They believe he could assist with inquiries.
The man was captured on nearby CCTV shortly after the incident. He is described as light-skinned, 175cm tall with a medium build and short dark curly hair.
Police want to speak to this man.
