Fraud fol­lowed theft of wal­let

PO­LICE are look­ing for two peo­ple who fraud­u­lently used cards to pur­chase goods in Vic­to­ria Park.

A man was work­ing at a com­mer­cial premises on Al­bany High­way about 9.30am on Novem­ber 11 when he left some of his tools and his wal­let in one area of the premises while he worked in an­other part.

When the man re­turned, he dis­cov­ered his tools were moved and his wal­let was miss­ing.

In­side the wal­let were two cards that were used by a man and woman shortly af­ter at a su­per­mar­ket and a phar­macy in Vic­to­ria Park.

Goods to the value of sev­eral hun­dred dol­lars were fraud­u­lently pur­chased with the cards.

Po­lice have re­leased CCTV images (above) of a man and woman who they be­lieve can as­sist them with their in­quiries.

The man is de­scribed as hav­ing tanned skin, 35-45-years-old with a solid build and wear­ing an or­ange and black base­ball cap, sun­glasses and grey T-shirt.

The woman is de­scribed as hav­ing tanned skin, 25-35-years-old with a thin build, long dark hair tied back and wear­ing a white top.
