KENS­ING­TON De­tec­tives are seek­ing in­for­ma­tion re­gard­ing the armed rob­bery of a man in Como, who was hit with tree branches on Oc­to­ber 7. About 12.15am, a 20-year-old man was walk­ing along Can­ning High­way, past the Can­ning Bridge train and bus sta­tion, along Lenora Street and into Hen­ley Street. Three men fol­lowed the man from the area near the Can­ning Bridge sta­tion and con­fronted him on Hen­ley Street. Po­lice al­lege they were armed with a wooden stake and tree branches and de­manded money from the vic­tim be­fore strik­ing his legs. They stole items from the vic­tim's bag be­fore flee­ing. De­tec­tives would like to speak with the men in the pho­tos (right) who they be­lieve can as­sist them with in­quiries.
