CANNINGTON Police are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a trespass incident that occurred in St James on October 30. Just before 1pm the resident of a house on Palmerston Street saw an unknown woman in her back yard. The woman started looking through windows of the house before she noticed the resident watching her and ran off. The woman is described as being dark skinned with black hair tied in a bun. She was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants, a black cardigan and carrying a tan handbag.
At 7.47am on Boxing Day, police responded to a suspicious man reported by a member of the public, who was seen breaking into a deli in St James. A 29-year-old man was arrested and charged with burglary with intent and stealing.
