Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - INSIDE & OUT HOME -

PERTH put together a competitive score on Saturday in their two-day fixture against Willetton at Burrendah Reserve.

Perth batted first in all four senior games and set competitive totals for what will be an exciting run chase by Willetton next Saturday.

First Grade will be defending 273 after all the top order got into double figures.

Jake Snadden (63) and Dain Moreton (65) were the pick of the batsmen.

A brilliant 129 by young Englishman Ben Mike rescued Perth from 5-52 to post 9-304 declared in Second Grade.

Shre Jain (68) provided great support in their 180-run stand for the seventh wicket, which is the highest partnership this season.

Third Grade posted 218 thanks to Adam Disisto with 57 and Fourth Grade made 269, largely due to under17 player Tom Evans.

Passing 50 for the first time with Perth, Evans went on to score his maiden century with an excellent 106.
