Boy on gun theft rap
ARMADALE Detectives have charged a 16-yearold boy as a result of their investigation into several burglaries in which vehicles and firearms were stolen from East Victoria Park, Serpentine and Oakford during December and January.
As a result of these inquiries Armadale Detectives, with the assistance of Rockingham Detectives, executed a search warrant at a home in Brown Crescent, Seville Grove on Sunday, January 29. It will be alleged that during the search police located and seized six stolen rifles.
The boy from Rockingham has been charged as a result of the search warrant and other burglary and stealing offences across the suburbs of Roleystone, Lesmurdie, Oakford, Byford, Karragullen, Seville Grove and Rockingham.
He has been charged with six counts of stealing, five counts of stealing a motor vehicle, two counts of home burglary, one count of aggravated home burglary and one count of aggravated burglary. He is due to appear in the Perth Children’s Court on February 9.
