Pub­lic in­vited to help shape sta­tion precinct

THE pub­lic is in­vited to a se­ries of work­shops at the City of South Perth as it pre­pares a place and de­sign study for the South Perth Sta­tion Precinct (SPSP).

The pro­ject will build on the ex­ist­ing vi­sion, con­sul­tant re­search and stake­holder in­put, and con­sider devel­op­ment cur­rently oc­cur­ring in the area. There are ways that com­mu­nity mem­bers can con­trib­ute to the process from now to April to help shape the fu­ture of the SPSP.

A busi­ness work­shop will be held at the South Perth Com­mu­nity Hall from 6 to 9pm on Fe­bru­ary 22 and a com­mu­nity work­shop will be held at Man­ning Hall from 2 to 5pm on Fe­bru­ary 25.

The City is look­ing for com­mu­nity mem­bers to take part in a plan­ning de­sign fo­rum, which will run over five days from March 13.

Ex­pres­sions of in­ter­est to the fo­rum close at 9am on Fe­bru­ary 27.
