QUOTE CONTRACT ON POST POSITION

Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - OPINION -

NOW that the head of Aus Post has resigned after his remuneration was disclosed, the replacement process begins.

I feel that for all vacancies that are filled with salaries commanding greater remuneration than the Prime Minister (Federal) or Premier (State), short-listed applicants should be required to quote on a five year contract.

Their annual remuneration should include; salary, annual leave and pay, bonus and incentive plan, general expenses, social and expense account, car and private use.

This supplied information would give the selection committee a sound idea as to who genuinely wants the job. JULIAN STANWIX, Como.
