MAJOR Crash officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred in Bentley and resulted in two people being taken to hospital. The crash occurred on March 24 about 9.50pm when a silver Holden utility drove on to the wrong side of Leach Highway and collided with a black Suzuki near the Albany Highway overpass. The 24-year-old female driver of the Suzuki received serious leg injuries and a 49-year-old woman who was the passenger in the Holden utility received internal injuries. Both women were taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital. The 26-year-old male driver of the Holden fled the scene and was located by police a short time later. He was not injured. Any motorist who may have dash cam vision of the Holden driving on the incorrect side of the road is asked to contact police.
