KENSINGTON Detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred about 9.30pm on March 20 on Berwick Street, East Victoria Park. The female victim was at her home when her doorbell rang. When she opened the door, she was confronted by a man who immediately started demanding money. The man reached behind his back and pulled out a black handgun. He pressed the muzzle of the handgun into the chest of the victim and demanded she hand over money. The victim was then struck to the left side of her face with the butt of the handgun three times. The woman fought back by punching and kicking the man, who fled from the scene emptyhanded in an unknown direction. The person depicted in the composite image may be able to assist in the investigation. The man is described as being about 17 to 20 years old with freckles across his forehead and both cheeks, unshaven, short brown hair, slim build and about 160cm tall. He was wearing a black hoody with white writing on the front and dark jeans. Quote reference number 8462 when calling Crime Stoppers.
