LAST CHANCE TO SEE INDIAN OCEAN EXHIBITION
THE Maritime Museum’s Travellers and Traders in the Indian Ocean exhibition is in its final days.
The exhibition, compiled in partnership with the British Museum, shows the role the Indian Ocean played in WA’s history and the state’s connection with the rest of the world.
More than 100 items are on display, 24 of which have never been seen in Australia.
The collection includes the Dirk Hartog Dish, the oldest known European object found on Australian soil.
Travellers and Traders is at the WA Maritime Museum until April 23.
