ARSON Squad officers are seeking the public’s assistance with information to assist with their investigation into a house fire in Carlisle on April 13. About 9.30pm, police and the Department of Fire and Emergency Services were called to a report of a house fire at an address on Bishopsgate Street. A woman was home at the time of the incident but was not injured. The fire caused extensive damage to the home, estimated at $250,000. Arson Squad detectives are investigating the cause of the fire and would like to speak to anyone who was in the area of Bishopsgate Street between 9pm and 10pm who saw any suspicious activity, persons or vehicles in the area. KENSINGTON POLICE are trying to find the owners of items found in a stolen motor vehicle that they discovered in Kensington on April 14, including a laptop that has an English/Arabic keyboard, making it relatively distinctive. Police believe the items were stolen in the South or South East Metro district between April 12 and 13. Anyone who believes the items to be theirs is asked to call Kensington police station and quote the IR number 130417 1200 14210.
BELMONT police are seeking help to identify this person after a car was broken into and credit cards stolen before they were used to spend more than $5000.
