I LIVE close to Signal Hill bushland and walk through there most days.
I recently spent a week coaxing two pet rabbits out of the bush.
I assume they had been dumped as I kept them for a week and advertised them, but had no response. They have now been rehomed. This morning I spotted another rabbit at Signal Hill, a white one, with many scratches to its floppy ears.
Please don't dump your pet rabbits in the bush.
They will be attacked by cats and dogs and will go hungry and thirsty.
It is distressing to see a lost pet in such poor condition and a cruel thing to do. Pauline Hale, BELMONT
