Southern Gazette (South Perth) - - OPINION -

IT is time South Perth had a dedicated CAT service instead of a second train station.

A CAT service would connect the residents and visitors to the Canning Bridge train station (Como) and Mends Street ferry.

Blended with current public transport, it would go a long way to decreasing the ever-growing traffic congestion that is developing in South Perth.

A CAT service would enable residents to park at home then catch the CAT and exit via train, ferry and bus.

Tourists and visitors could arrive by train, ferry and bus and then move about South Perth eateries, shops – and not forgetting our wonderful zoo.

So if you feel you would use the service of a dedicated CAT service in South Perth, then contact your local member and ask for a CAT for Smart City South Perth. MICHAEL BOND South Perth
