Group to help par­ents grow

CLAN WA is run­ning a free par­ent­ing sup­port and dis­cus­sion group ev­ery week in Cloverdale.

The not-for-profit or­gan­i­sa­tion is sup­port­ing lo­cal fam­i­lies with its SEEDS group.

SEEDS en­cour­ages par­ents to come along to find out how their par­ent­ing can grow, meet other par­ents, chat about is­sues and re­ceive sup­port in deal­ing with those is­sues.

Par­ents can share their per­sonal sto­ries, ex­pe­ri­ences, con­cerns and high­lights to work to­gether and hear from other fam­i­lies.

Each week fo­cuses on a dif­fer­ent topic in a re­laxed en­vi­ron­ment, with hand­outs and tea and cof­fee pro­vided.

Chil­dren are wel­come to at­tend.

SEEDS is held ev­ery Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm at the Ruth Faulkner Public Li­brary.
